Fighting*  (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know. Quran 2:216 Promoting Understanding of Religious Suffering

Say, "Shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that as penalty from Allah ? [It is that of] those whom Allah has cursed and with whom He became angry and made of them apes and pigs and slaves of Taghut. Those are worse in position and further astray from the sound way." Can Allah do anything? Yes, Allah can do anything. 35:1 Praise be to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who appointeth the angels messengers having wings two, three and four. He multiplieth in creation what He will. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things.

Many of our religious friends have heard Islam is a religion of peace. Consider the following: Quran Surah 6: Many generations have been destroyed by Allah. 6  Allah will torment those who deny his revelations. 49  Those who disbelieve will be forced to drink boiling water, and will face a painful doom. 70  When nonbelievers die, the angels will deliver to them doom and degradation. 93 Allah chooses to lead some astray, and he lays ignominy on those who disbelieve. 125  Allah will send everyone the Fire, except those he chooses to deliver. 128   Promoting Understanding of Religious Suffering

Many of our religious friends are held captive by an alleged holy book.  They claim, "God's existence is proven by scripture." There is no inherent value to the bible, quran or any other religious text. These documents are not self-authenticating in any way. T here is no historical, archaeological or scientific evidence to support many of the stories in the bible and the quran. Ultimately, the  bible, quran , and other religious texts are man-made products of whimsy, poetry, mythology and some history woven together into a new story. The texts come from many oral sources over many years and are combined arbitrarily into a single document. It's impossible for every religious book to be true.  It's far more likely that every religious book is equally fictitious and unreliable.
